Well, basically when you export the WP blog you download an XML file – which is all that's needed – nothing to it! Why don't you create a dummy blog and try it?

You must have done something off the track I think which you are welcomed to share, As I know when we go to Settings > Basic > Import blog there we need to upload a file which is Exported from a Blogger Blog only. Also

Hi – I have successfully imported a blog from WP into Blogger! So perhaps your information is slightly outdated. As for me, for sheer flexibility, give me Blogger any day.
