  2. Its the same for me.

    Google for searches..

    Facebook for networking with friends.

    Twitter to share information, network with strangers and people who share the same interest. And eventually become friends.. :-)

    One site i wanna start using more is Linkedin, for professional networking..

  4. Users will be able to create their own search engines indexing particular types of data, a single site, or a set of particular sites because now Alexa is giving access to their crawler to the users and the visitors. Alexa came to this conclusion as a result of some tests that they were conducted on their web search platform. By using Alexa’s search and publication tools users can search and process innumerable number of documents apart from being able to create their own search engine. The users can also store large number of web data as Alexa provides compute and storage resources as well. Users can avail of this service by registering for the beta by filling up a form on the site.

  8. INSANE LIST !
    Great work.

    But, let me say, don’t spend much time (in other words, DON’T WASTE), in submitting your blogs to these places.

    These all works only if you’ve crossed a certain particular level.

    So, start with blogging. Keep Blogging. And when you’ve settled, go, submit to these places and that will be useful.
    Don’t go places, submitting your blog, the next day you’ve started blogging.

    Thank You.

  11. I also use twitter and find it nice and fun to do, but I have never found it to be useful.

    In the professional parlance A lot of twitter is used to make personal brand by people. Previously blogs were used to achieve the same, but the thing with blogs was that it had content. On the other hand twitter lacks the same. You might think a person as a guy with great tweets but that might not be original, might be updates are a collection of really good links.

    I don’t know a lot of people vouch for twitter and find it cool and useful, I guess I am not one of them.

  30. Hi – I have successfully imported a blog from WP into Blogger! So perhaps your information is slightly outdated. As for me, for sheer flexibility, give me Blogger any day.

  31. You must have done something off the track I think which you are welcomed to share, As I know when we go to Settings > Basic > Import blog there we need to upload a file which is Exported from a Blogger Blog only. Also
    {
    You can import posts and comments from a previously exported BLOGGER blog, export this blog, or permanently delete it.
    }
    Is written there.

    Pritesh Gupta 19 September 2009 at 5:44 am Permalink
  32. Well, basically when you export the WP blog you download an XML file – which is all that's needed – nothing to it! Why don't you create a dummy blog and try it?
