Installation
- Download the latest version.
- Extract it in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Customize the plugin in the Settings > Enhance Admin Bar.
- Enter your Bit.ly Username and API Key.
- For Custom Menu, Go to Appearance > Menus and add a menu to “Enhance Admin Bar Custom Menu”.

Great Idea! Unfortunately when I clicked on add custom menu to admin bar – I got a 404 on the menu page. I made it No and the menu page worked again.
Im using platform theme by pagelines and the latest WP. Also, will the custom menu be fore the user when he/she is logged in or logged out?
No the custom menu is available only to logged in users. Though there are some plugins which can make it available to non logged in users as well.
What is the default “Shortlink” option that I can remove? (seems to not make a difference if I have it on/off)
